Zella Porto is officially done playing second fiddle. After spending decades in the shadow of her high school rival, Cheri Cherrie, the final straw snaps when Cheri brazenly steals Zella's life story and passes it off as her own. Out for revenge, Zella accepts Cheri's very public challenge to settle the score at the annual charity fundraiser: The Christmas Bowl. To crush her nemesis on the lanes, Zella must first reunite her estranged bowling squad. Armed with bad backs, weak knees, and crazy lives, the misfit team bands together, relying on hilariously unorthodox training to get their groove back. But the stakes reach a fever pitch when a messy brawl between Zella and Cheri goes viral online. Suddenly, the local tournament has astronomical charity pledges and millions of viewers tuning in.
