Directed by Garri BardinThe heroes of the film are ordinary matches. The quarrel, which broke out over a trifle, turned into a real battle, in which both warring parties burned down. The final scene allegorically shows the aftermath of an atomic war, and the closing box with burnt matches symbolizes the coffin.
