Euan hasn't heard from his cousin Rory in six years. They reunite on an island off the Ayrshire coast where they spent their summer holidays as children. While Rory wants to drag Euan on a tour of their youth, Euan does not share the same appetite for sentimentality and can't help but feel that something strange is happening in Millport. As the lines between nostalgia and trauma become blurred, Euan begins to question if the island is friend or foe.
