Screen version of the famous Russian fairy tale. Meeting the winter, the Hare builds a good house for himself. Fox builds a house of ice. In the spring, the Fox's house is melting. Having expelled the Hare, the Fox settles at his home. The Rooster comes to the aid of the Hare. Having seen the Rooster, the Fox rushes away, and the Hare again settles in his house.
