The Poet
Directed by Casey Chan Lai-YingGu Cheng, a contemporary Chinese poet, emigrated to New Zealand with his wife Reimi and his mistress Ching at a time when, faced with a booming economy, cultural and artistic ideologies were stagnating. He had to choose between staying in China and fighting for the "new cultural and artistic movement," or emigrating with his family. He ultimately opted for the latter. Unfortunately, nothing went as he had planned.
