The womanizer Alexis is transferred to Tossenstein Fortress as punishment. On the way, he falls in love with Rikscha, the robber's daughter, who unbuttoned his uniform pants. Upon his arrival, the commander of Tossenstein tasks him with a punitive expedition against the band of robbers. As a reward, Alexis receives the commander's daughter Lilli as his bride.
