On November 30th, 2011 a team of volunteers from the Four Seasons Resort Maui planted 2000 trees on the Hawaiian island of Kaho'olawe honoring the company's commitment to plant 10 million trees worldwide. Forbidden access, rich indigenous history, sad history of exploitation, unexploded ordinance danger, togetherness, a sense of purpose, sweat and awe-inspiring untouched nature brought everyone back changed people.
