Camille, a famous actress, stars as Madame Bovary in a filmed adaptation of Gustave Flaubert's classic directed by her husband Bertrand. On the last day of shooting she is approached by Mathilde, a pretty young actress who tells her two things: the first one is that she deeply admires her; the second is unfortunately less pleasant to hear: Mathilde has spent a night with Bertrand and they have now decided to live together. This is the beginning of a dangerous game this gang of three will play... ruthlessly!
