Two domestics at wash-tubs in the garden, and hanging clothes out ; sweep comes down the path and smudges clothes in passing ; "jaw" from the domestics, with some soap-suds added : sweep retaliates with black brush : exciting chase round wash-tubs, sweep trips up, and has his face washed in good style before he can recover. Small terrier assists in a very natural manner.
