Quinn, Rachel, and Steffi are best friends and each faces a crisis. Quinn is a career woman who suddenly wants a baby; Rachel suspects her husband may be cheating on her; and Steffi is under the influence of a sleazy psychiatrist. For one of these women, the truth will be too much to bear and she will step out onto the ledge and possibly jump to her death.
