Five men—Ikariya, Arai, Nakamoto, Takagi, and Kato—came to Tokyo with high hopes, but reality was harsh and they lived lives far removed from their ideals. Ikariya and Kato, who have feelings for Mitsuko, the daughter of a mobile food truck that comes to the reclaimed land where they work, learn that Mitsuko is being targeted by the corrupt company president Kitakoji. In an attempt to save Mitsuko, they kidnap Kitakoji and deport him, but are arrested instead. However, police investigations reveal that Kitakoji is the mastermind behind drug smuggling, and they are released.
