Deborah Frances-White is a stand-up comedian, screenwriter, and Sunday Times best-selling author. She is best known as the creator and host of The Guilty Feminist podcast which has over 100 million downloads and has been performed live around the world at venues including The Royal Albert Hall, The Sydney Opera House, The Wellington Arena & The London Palladium. Her new book, Six Conversations We’re Scared to Have, is soon being published by Virago at Hachette. Her autographical stand-up storytelling BBC Radio show won The Writers’ Guild Award. Her award-winning independent film SAY MY NAME premiered at the Odeon Leicester Square in 2019. Deborah has several scripts in development. She is an Amnesty International Ambassador.

She founded the innovative improv company The Spontaneity Shop in 1997. She and her partner Tom Salinsky wrote The Improv Handbook which was published in 2008.
