Gustavo was the protagonist in the film "High Strung" which was shown at Lincoln Center in New York. He recorded for the Netflix series "The Blacklist" and “Rio Connection” for Globo/Sony. He acted in a theatrical version of the production "The Irishman" for Netflix in NY. Gustavo acted in the soap opera “Terra e Paixão” on Globo. He also acted in the film “Ascension”, selected for several festivals in the United States, including the Coney Island Film Festival in New York. He acted in the series “Strut”, which was part of the Tribeca Film Festival. In 2016, he participated in the show 4X Bibi, starring Bibi Ferreira, at Symphony Space – NYC and his own play “Naked Brazilian” at the New York International Fringe Festival. The play also received positive reviews from the Huffington Post, and the actor was interviewed on Programa do Jô. Gustavo obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree from The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, where he received a Fulbright scholarship for acting and also studied at Cal in Rio.
