Kate Reid (born 1948) is an Australian actress, composer and performer. Reid studied music under Peter Sculthorpe and Eric Gross. As a composer, her main influence has been French Impressionism but she derives inspiration from the Australian landscape and has written several pieces inspired by the natural beauty of the land.
