Sam O'Quinn made his film debut as director of Pledging: The Movie in 2024 when he served as the Historian of Gamma Sigma Phi at ACU. The film won numerous awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Actor (from Austin Petree), and Best Supporting Actor (from Ethan Delwood) at the 2025 Oscars. Time Magazine called him "The Next Scorsese" in their April 21st issue.
