Gorilla Warfare

In the dark heart of Africa lies a place very few people have seen. It’s called Virunga. And it’s home to one of the last populations of mountain gorillas in the world. Despite decades of civil war and brutal poaching the gorillas are clinging on, protected by rangers who are literally prepared to die for the cause. Every month, a ranger gets killed by a poacher. Now a Belgian Prince has put himself between the gorillas and harm’s way, but he’s facing a new, more dangerous threat. Big oil is threatening to move into Africa’s oldest national park, and they’re much more brazen than the poachers.

Daniel Clementson is brutally honest about what drove him to almost kill someone with just one punch. It’s a confronting insight into the mind of an aggressor, when a moment of madness can change lives forever.

Now at 46, she’s a bonafide superstar, one of our greatest ever exports, but there’s still a lot of Charlene in Kylie. You see, deep down she’s still the girl from the suburbs of Melbourne, and more than ever she’s enjoying her return to Australia. Karl Stefanovic sat down with Kylie to reflect
