Gilbert must submit an entry for the Miss Hillman pageant. Whitley thinks she has the Miss Hillman pageant sewn up, but then, much to her chagrin, Denise signs Dwayne up to be a contestant. Whitley's mother and grandmother were previously crowned Miss Hillman, and Whitley is concerned she may disappoint her mother.
