Meanwhile, at another restaurant, a girl named Manami questions a staff member about someone named "Takumi" and leaves abruptly after meeting Touma. Later, Kaede visits SeaSons and chats with Chiaki, making Misaki anxious. Urged by Kanata to ask about their relationship, Misaki overhears Kaede inviting Chiaki out for drinks. Meanwhile, Chiaki coldly brushes off Manami, who visits SeaSons with something to say. That night, Misaki asks Kanata if she should tell Chiaki about Kaede, but he says it’s unnecessary. However, when she happily talks about Chiaki, Kanata snaps and tells her to leave, leading to a fight. Though she knows her answer, she struggles with timing. After some advice from Wakaba and a fireworks outing with the brothers, Misaki tries to tell Kanata, but is misunderstood. Unable to confess, she continues to wait. Meanwhile, Touma tells Chiaki it's only a matter of time before Misaki and Kanata get together, and that Misaki seems over Chiaki. The next day, Misaki and Kanata begin gathering ingredients, and she suggests celebrating together if their presentation succeeds. - Two Confessions

Back at home, Kanata has dinner ready, but Misaki, flustered by the situation and Chiaki’s return, fakes a stomachache and retreats to her room. The next day, she calls Wakaba for advice, who insists that Chiaki must have feelings for her and warns that Kanata won’t wait forever. Meanwhile, Chiaki meets with Kaede, but she takes him somewhere before he can speak. Misaki learns from Touma that Kanata went to scout the Dining Out venue alone. That night, Misaki asks Kanata why he rejected her, but he brushes it off, saying he simply changed his mind. Hurt and confused, Misaki is later visited by Chiaki, who asks her to make dessert for Kanata's interview. Realizing she's been rejected, Chiaki confronts Kanata, but he remains silent, hiding his true feelings.
