Onildo asks for help on the road to assist Tonho, and Fabrício forces Mirinho to stop his car. Alika/Lúcia accuses Mirinho of attempting to harm Tonho. Alika/Lúcia takes care of Tonho alongside Onildo and encourages her boyfriend to remember how the accident happened. Onildo informs José, Teresa, and Niara/Vera about what happened to Tonho and says that Alika/Lúcia will stay with the young man. Onildo probes Niara/Vera.
