Episode 1The first episode is inspired by the Herdman family of Sion Mills, who had a vision of creating a model village and achieved it against all odds. The first challenge tasks the designers with making an apron from pre-loved linen garments, while in the six hour challenge, the designers must create a ‘sunday best’ look from linen.

Episode 2Celebrating the needlework and thrift craft skills of the girls and women of the Ards peninsula, the designers take on sustainability fashion challenges using pre-loved garments.

Episode 3It’s elimination week and the designers must come up with their own modern twist on the classic power suit, inspired by the Ulster-Scots families behind Belfast’s cotton industry.

Episode 4The two finalists create celebratory woven garments inspired by the story of the Rhyming Weavers, but only one designer will be crowned the series winner of A Stitch through Time.
