Setting up retail in Canada is rather hard. However through most of the 1900's, there was one brand that rose through everyone else and became a thriving discount department store brand. One most Canadians remember fondly and went to every week. Zellers was a Canadian retail icon and one very much preferred over their fierce rival Walmart.
