After she disappears, Izumi and Tsukamoto track her to the site of the next predicted attack. When Tsukamoto tries to apprehend her, she injures him with a knife and flees. Later, Haruna is found and brought in for questioning, where she asks Izumi a chilling question: "If I kill an animal, will I get the death penalty?"
