Edith goes to great lengths to conceal the fact that Archie's niece Linda has been out dancing with Lionel Jefferson. When he finds out, it ignites a firestorm between the Bunkers and the Jeffersons right in the middle of the Bunker's own living room. Linda becomes so put out with Archie's reaction that she refuses to talk to him.
