Joe Harris, an older man with an injured knee, is taken in by his son and his family. Joe's grandson Dylan has a love of comics, and he discovers that Joe also did when he was a kid. A mysterious ring arrive in the mail for Joe, and when he dons it he gets superpowers like his childhood hero, Dynoman.
