After Hurricane Katrina pounded the Big Easy, Slim Goodies Diner was the first to open its doors to a city in crisis, but ten years later, they are having a hard time keeping up. With just 36 hours until the owner, Kappa, returns home, Renovation Expert Ty Pennington and Chef Amanda Freitag must clean up this New Orleans saver with some much needed New Orleans flavor, creating food and designs that encompass the city's uniqueness.
