When Gunn's cousin becomes involved in a plan to rob a museum, it's up to Angel Investigations to help him get out of it. Angel and Gunn go undercover with the demon thieves, who are after the Shroud of Rahmon, unaware that the shroud has supernatural mind-altering properties. Soon everyone is infected, and Angel's relationship with Detective Kate Lockley is both bettered and worsened when she intrudes on the heist.
