It's Cordelia's birthday, and a particularly intense vision sends her into a coma. As her friends try to help her, Cordelia is stuck in an astral plane and unable to communicate. When a demon guide shows up and offers her the chance to go back in time and take a different path, she has to choose between getting everything she thought she wanted, or returning to her life with Angel and enduring the visions that will eventually kill her.
