While Angel grieves for Connor, Cordelia returns from vacation and tries to comfort him. Meanwhile, Gunn is approached by a "repo man"; Gunn mortgaged his soul to a demonic casino owner seven years ago, and it's time to collect the debt. He callously breaks up with Fred, hoping to spare her long-term pain, and goes to the casino to settle his debt, but Fred begs her colleagues for help and they set out to rescue him.
