According to Tapwater Springs' tradition you can pinch anyone not wearing green and when Angela arrives at school that morning everyone in her class can hardly wait until recess time to take advantage of Angela's forgetfulness.
Angela becomes Nanette's understudy for Mrs. Brinks' "Miss Manners the Musical". Knowing that Nanette would never give up the limelight, Angela forgoes her duties.
