It is a painful day in the Namane house as they lay one of their own to rest at Monwabisi's funeral. But Mandlakazi lies in hospital with pipes coming out of her body and can't bury her son. As if the pain isn't enough, Nkonzo stops the burial, he wants Monwabisi's body. Nokulunga has to stop an eager and pained Tsietsi from even thinking about going to the funeral, he will be back in jail before he even gets to sing 'amagugu'. But this is also a good opportunity for Nokulunga to insert herself into the family that has discarded her for many years. Her speech at the funeral is priceless. Damian is determined to make this the best funeral Namane Funerals has ever handled, if it means fighting Violet for the spotlight, so be it.
