Selo's plan to keep Monwabisi's death a secret from Mandlakazi is thwarted when Nokulunga inadvertently lets the cat out of the bag during her visit with Mandlakazi. Mandlakazi is inconsolable, and she swears she will never forgive her family for not telling her. She sees an image of Monwabisi in her sedated state, and swears to him that she will protect him. Tsietsi finds it impossible to get a good lawyer for the money he has - a total of 300k which he smuggles out of his apartment undetected. He makes a stop in Mpho's room to apologize for his crimes, saying he was not in his right mind when he shot Monwabisi. Violet and Damian are convinced that Stitch and Reba are having sex. Reba is so grief-stricken she does finally take Stitch to bed.
