Selo's drinking increases, he even sleeps in his car and asks the helper to lie about seeing him. He keeps finding solace in MaKhoza. When he gets to the office, he refuses to solve an issue with a client, as he is drunk and Damian smells it. Violet and Damian get frustrated when they can't get help from Selo or Reba as they deal with a very difficult Gog'Joyce. The trap has been set. Nkonzo is waiting to pounce on his prey but unknown to him Zungu has unwittingly let on to Ms Booi. The moment Ms Booi hears Tsietsi has gone to see his mother, she puts two and two together and the whole operation evaporates in front of Nkonzo's eyes. Meanwhile Reba is tortured by her guilt at acting unethically. Damian helps Selo cover his reeking breath with coffee and a mint.
