Jamie is a single mom of three terrific kids, 14-year-old Jake, 11-year-old Hanna and the baby of the family, five-year-old Olivia. Their dog Everest was a shelter pup, brought into the family for companionship. But as Everest grew, he became increasingly aggressive and even bit the two young girls, leaving Jamie anxious about the nature of her dog and the safety of her kids, especially when her eldest, Jake is babysitting his sisters. In a final attempt to help Everest, Jamie has called Brad. But can Everest's problems be fixed or are they more deeply embedded? And what is the right pet for this family after all?
