La Rabouilleuse

Directed by Pierre Sabbagh
S11 • E25    Dec 17, 1976    2h 2m
Emerging from adolescence, Flore Brazier nicknamed "la Rabouilleuse", an orphan, is taken in by Rouget, a rich single man, who makes her his servant first, then his mistress. Pretty, intelligent, and even cunning, it does not take long before she subjugates her master. She has a lover, Commander Max Gilet, a half-pay officer. With his complicity, she connives to misappropriate Rouget's inheritance for her own benefit, but a new man steps in, Colonel Philippe Brideau, Rouget's nephew, an unrepentant swordsman. He too wants to recover part of his uncle's estate.
