In a sleazy Amsterdam brothel's peepshow, Jacqueline de Groot is found by the ticket selling science student, skull smashed. She was a junkie who always needed money, yet announced she would leave. She had broken up with her foster family, where some secrets need untangling. Baantjer's team looks into all staff and presumably abusive customers, then wrestles with loads of alibis and possible motives.
