When two nuns who worked as nurses with Sánchez in the maternity ward are murdered, Inspector Fina Valent and her partner Xavi Bonet suspect a connection. From the committed journalist Lucía Blanxart, who makes allegations against doctors, adoptive parents and the church, the two learn how the cover-up system of silence still works. Mothers like bus driver Carmen Perreiro have been trying in vain to find their stolen children for decades. Does someone kill for revenge because otherwise there is no justice? However, Fina and Xavi's professional ethics do not allow for any understanding of vigilantism. What they find out brings new pain for those affected.
