The order for the division to advance and provide fire support has been cancelled. Thank God, battalion commander Kondratyev helped Maksimov - he opened fire in time. The guns were destroyed and thrown into the Dnepr. Ilyutin was killed. Sergey Kondratyev was taken to hospital with a serious wound. Only four fighters remained from Ermakov's battalion.
