However, behind the touching lyrics of definitive power ballads like "Keep on Lovin' You" and "Take It on the Run" was a series of troubled relationships, including the one between Kevin Cronin (lead vocals) and Gary Richrath (lead guitar). Here the two songwriters and the rest of the band discuss their creative struggles and Richrath's deadly addictions, and reveal the brotherly love they still have for one another.
