Today is Jean-Claude's birthday! And to celebrate, Billy and Suzie decided to make a great hazelnut birthday cake with him. JC couldn't have hoped for better, he's over the moon! But he is quickly disillusioned when Billy discovers that his father's supply of hazelnuts has been stolen! Suzie, with her unerring flair, finds the trail of the thief who leads them to Tough Cookie. Our three heroes take back their property but discover that they were mistaken: Tough Cookie doesn't have the hazelnuts in his bag, but a jar of hazelnut spread made by his mother! The children go to find Tough Cookie to give him back his property and apologize, but Jean-Claude, in complete disarray, convinced that his birthday is over and that he will never get his hazelnut cake, makes the situation worse by eating Tough Cookie's spread...
