    Gladys' BirthdayExcited by the fact that it is her birthday, Gladys runs to check her mailbox, convinced it will be full of cards, but alas, there are none to be found. It appears everyone has forgotten her birthday. Or have they?

    Promise the SkyA glorious morning inspires Bingo to paint. Upon taking a clean canvas outside to begin, he discovers that he needs new paints, a new brush, and a new easel. That is when he turns to Gladys, Duck, Zigger, and Mr. Growl for assistance.

    The Hot PotatoGladys has submitted a poem into a competition believing it will win. After her poem fails to finish first place, things go downhill for Gladys and friends, that is until Mr. Growl recounts the story of the Hot Potato for some perspective.

    In the SoupBingo is very proud of the magnificent space rocket he has built. Molly accidentally breaks it. Upon attempting to fix it, she only makes matters worse. Molly then runs off leaving Duck to take the blame for breaking Bingo's rocket.

    BubblelandBingo and Zigger are worried about Duck, who has not changed or washed his clothes for weeks and is beginning to stink. Duck, unaware of the source of the foul smell, thinks it may be coming from the stinkwood splinter in Molly's finger.

    Zigger's First DayIt is Zigger's first day in the neighborhood. Gladys, believing that moles are dirty and messy, spreads the word that Zigger must not be allowed to stay. Molly, however, disagrees. Mr. Growl intervenes with a story from the book tree.

    The WishMolly is elated when Bingo brings home cousin Lou's turtle to turtle-sit for a day. Disappointed in having to return the turtle, Molly is excited to wake up the following morning to find a goldfish on her desk, until it passes away.

    The Birthday PresentBingo has given all his friends a list of the presents he wants for his birthday. As he arrives at Mr. Growl's party, he finds a wonderful pile of gifts. Bingo is particularly intrigued by Zigger's secretive gift, until it is revealed.

    Mr. Growl's BrothersMr. Growl has two brothers who are older, larger, and very bossy. They have written Mr. Growl asking him to move into their house with them. Everyone is concerned that Mr. Growl may leave. How can they persuade him to stay, they wonder?

    Hide and PeekMolly, who is the smallest and youngest of the neighborhood friends, is fed up with losing. She therefore takes every precaution she can to win, no matter the game. Soon nobody wants to play with Molly the cheater any longer.

    Your Grass Is GreenerBingo is frightened after being pursued by a big brown bear named Rosa. Fortunately, Rosa turns out to be a friendly bear, although everyone soon learns of her disrespectful and demanding habits of saying "I want" and "Let me have that."

    Fun Either WayBingo and Duck's friendship has the hiccups. Duck is turning everything into a contest. Whether it is playing baseball, attempting funny walks, racing around the neighborhood, or even scoffing poor Zigger's popcorn, Duck must be the best.

    The More the MerrierBingo is looking forward to an entire day playing with his best friend Duck, but Duck becomes sidetracked by Zigger. Bingo soon discovers the two musicians jamming together and grows angry with Duck whom he no longer considers a friend.

    Pink and BlueBingo and Molly are planning to build a clubhouse, and when Bingo tells Duck about their plans, Duck insists it must be a clubhouse for boys only, upsetting Molly. The girls then challenge the boys to a competition to build a clubhouse.

    Rainy Day BluesThere is going to be a picnic. Excited, everyone begins to prepare. Then, the sky darkens, followed by thunder, lightning, and heavy rain. Suddenly, Duck has an idea. Imagine the surprise and laughter when he introduces a rainy-day circus.

    Yes You CanEveryone is struggling with their own special issue on this particularly interesting day. After Mr. Growl reads a story that Bingo has written, everyone quickly realizes that they can accomplish anything if they put forth the effort.

    A Turn for the BetterAs she eats breakfast, Gladys notices a message offering a beautiful car to anyone who sends in 10 cereal package tops. The only caveat is that the offer closes the same day. Suddenly, Gladys has a great idea, but she will need some help.

    Yours, Mine, and OopsMr. Growl is learning how to perform magic, and he is going to need to harness all his supernatural skills to assist Bingo who is being chased by Molly, Zigger, Rosa, and Gladys, all of whom are quite upset with Bingo, for various reasons.

    All Together NowZigger knows that there is something very important written on his calendar. The message reads- "Mr. Growl is coming home today. Arrange a surprise party." Bingo turns to Mr. Growl's Book Tree for inspiration, and teamwork saves the day.

    The Daisy and the RoseThe friends are invited to Mr. Growl's for dinner. Rosa is very excited, that is until Gladys attempts to persuade her that friends should dress and act the same. Bingo is also having trouble, as Duck wants to copy everything Bingo does.
