Aleksandr Krechet, after investigating high-profile cases in the Investigative Committee, unexpectedly resigns and intends to settle in Crimea. On his first day on the beach, he saves a young man from the water, who was clearly intended to be killed and who is the spitting image of the guy who disappeared here 25 years ago.
