Ultimately, the verdict results in Eileen having full custody, leaving David to succumb to depression even more so than he already had after Eileen broke things off again, specifically turning to the bottle.

Reluctantly, after being paid a large sum, the Mafia decides to back off, but not without an extra consequence. They cut off three of Bruce's fingers on his right hand and agree to leave them alone, if they never interact again. The guys all sell their share of the track.
