Garozy and Khromov, secretly from the leadership, begin preparations for the operation. Colonel Klimenko unexpectedly learns that the bandits his best friend, Yuri Ilyich Garozy, is looking for serve as officers and conscripts in the construction unit he commands. The bandits blackmail Klimenko, and when Garozy comes close to revealing the secret, he is faced with a choice: whose side to take. Surrender Garozia to the bandits, or go to prison yourself?
