Left without cover, Pavel Khromov decides to continue the operation, even though for the operatives, he is now the same bandit as the Black Wolves. Khromov turns to criminals for help, telling them he knows where Princess Galitsina's jewelry is. The thieves agree to help for "their share in the stones."
