When Pearl, a fiery dancer with the African Jewel troupe, discovers a chance to compete in Nairobi, she'll stop at nothing to seize it. Without her passport or ID, she takes a daring risk, sneaking across the border, only to be caught by David, a handsome immigration officer with secrets of his own. As they form an unlikely alliance, David offers to help Pearl and her troupe achieve their dreams, while hiding from his own troubled past.
