As the murder investigation continues some of the officials in this town are concerned that it may paint a bad picture for their plans to develop the area. The investigation into the original murder now widens to include a missing girl who knew the original victim. In addition, the missing person's mother becomes involved. We find out that she is a very capable Russian FSB agent. The last twist, someone from the police unit seems to be involved.
