Having barely reached Moscow, Alex is late for Seryoga's funeral: he meets his paratrooper friends at the exit from the cemetery. Solomin tells the bros about the arrest of a certain Shipulin with the very consignment of goods that Seryoga accompanied, and about the features of the weapon from which their friend was shot. Alex starts to make inquiries and goes to an old friend Nikolaenko. Meanwhile, General Mironov, having received an order for a batch of weapons, instructs Luka to find a person to accompany her.
