An inspection of the park reveals the man's wallet and driving license, using which CID track down his home and find out that he is a wealthy moneylender. The inspection also reveals a blanket and a walking stick that evidently belong to a homeless man who often sleeps there- who, when questioned, says that the night before, he was woken up by the sound of a car and then told to leave the park by an unrecognised person.
