Suddenly Lady WAI appears and interrupts their conversation. She gives TAK a terrible telling-off and bans her from meeting anyone from Kam’s Gold. Lady WAI is going to kill Mama SHUM’s illegitimate son WING ON but the lad manages to run away. ON bumps into TAK during his escape. Believing that TAK is the real culprit who caused his mother’s death, ON is resolved to kill her. Luckily YUMAN KIT, the philanthropist whom the Emperor is going to meet, passes by and manages to rescue her in the nick of time. KIT looks so familiar and TAK immediately recognizes him as the benefactor who gave her a longevity locket in Tin Ping Village. TAK takes a nap inside her bedroom. When she wakes up, she is shocked to discover that SHAU has come earlier and left her a letter and a handmade longevity locket……
