Caroline has writer's block so this episode has Richard and Caroline looking back on some of the events Season 1, from the time when Richard was first employed. The central story is about the time Del and Caroline agree to try abstinence, or 'dessert' as she calls it. However, she weakens and goes to buy some condoms. Circumstances mean that she tries to shop lift them but is caught.
